Earthquake in Nepal

On April 25 2015 an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.8 – 8.1 and a maximum Intensity of IX (Violent) struck Nepal severely impacting 15 districts closest to the epicenter, which by latest count has killed more than 7,200 people and this number is growing as rescuers and relief team reach remote villages.

Many charity organizations are working in this situation to bring relief operations which are necessary to avoid further loss of life and livelihood.

At this juncture CaN is working with local organizations in this regard. You can also donate for the earthquake victims in Nepal. Your donations to CaN will go directly to the victims for emergency supplies like, food, drink, medicine, shelter, and clothing where our friends are working tirelessly.

When the immediate livelihood needs are met, we will also start reconstruction and/or re-building schools, providing school uniforms, supplies, and taking care of orphans.
